Know who you bill
Everyone you bill,
in one place.
Every customer record builds itself as you invoice. Their details, every invoice you've sent, what they've paid, and how they tend to pay, all in one view. No separate CRM to keep up to date.

The record writes itself.
Add a customer name on the first invoice and the record is created for you. From then on, every invoice, payment, and reminder attaches to it automatically. You never keep a separate contact list in sync.

Customer intelligence
Know who pays on time.
Each customer shows their real payment behavior: how fast they usually pay, what's outstanding right now, and whether anything is overdue. It's read from your own invoices, so you know who to follow up with and who to trust with terms.
From records to answers
A customer record is a track record.
Every invoice and payment writes itself to the customer, so the record is not a contact card you maintain. It is a history of how they actually behave with your money, ready to read.

Customer records and pay-reliability, live. Per-customer profitability, rolling out.
Just enough, not a CRM
The customer context you need, without the overhead.
A sales CRM is a system you have to feed. Wrenbase works the other way around: it keeps the customer context an invoicing business actually needs, who you bill, what they owe, and how they pay, and it stays current on its own because it's built from the work you already do.
Keep your CRM
Your CRM stays your CRM. Wrenbase adds the money truth.
If your team lives in HubSpot or Salesforce, stay there. Wrenbase doesn't ask you to move. It owns the part a sales CRM never had, the real financial history of each customer: what they were billed, what they paid, how fast, and what's outstanding. Integrations to bring your CRM's customers into Wrenbase are coming, so the deal you closed and the money it made live side by side without re-keying the list.
Additional recipients
Reach everyone who needs the invoice.
One invoice often has to land with a few people: the project contact, an accounts-payable inbox, maybe a manager who signs off. Add them to the customer and they get a copy of every invoice and quote, on the same email as the main contact.
Put an address on Cc and everyone can see it. Put it on Bcc and the copy stays quiet. Either way they only receive the document, with no login to set up.

Customer groups
Group customers your way.
Give a customer a label, a department, a division, a region, whatever fits how you think about your book. It's a simple flat label, not a hierarchy.
Then you can view customers together and read your numbers by group, so you see how a region or a line of business is doing, not just one customer at a time.
Bring your customers in
Start with the customers you already have.
Your customer list and their payment history don't have to start empty. Drop in a CSV from any tool today, at any volume. Native connectors, an API, and ERP ingestion, the kind that pulls straight from the systems where your data already lives, are rolling out. However complex your setup, there is a way in.

What the record feeds
Every customer record is intelligence the rest of Wrenbase reads.
Invoicing writes to the record, the record tells Cash Pulse who pays and who's slipping, and a project ties earnings back to the customer behind them. One record, feeding every answer.
Common questions
Quick answers.
- What is a customer in Wrenbase?
- Everyone you bill. A customer record holds their details, every invoice you've sent them, what they've paid, and how they tend to pay. It builds itself as you invoice, so there's no separate CRM to keep up to date.
- Do I have to set up customers before I can invoice?
- No. Add a name on the first invoice and the customer record is created for you. From then on, every invoice, payment, and reminder attaches to that record automatically.
- What does 'who pays late' actually tell me?
- For each customer you can see their payment history: how fast they usually pay, what's outstanding, and whether anything is overdue. It's drawn from your real invoices, not a guess, so you know who to follow up with and who to trust with terms.
- Can I import my existing customer list?
- Yes. Drop in a CSV of customers from a spreadsheet, your CRM, or your phone contacts, map the columns once, and they're ready to invoice.
- Is this a full CRM?
- No. It's the customer context an invoicing business actually needs, who you bill, what they owe, and how they pay, without the overhead of a sales CRM you'd have to maintain by hand.
- How is Wrenbase Customers different from a CRM like HubSpot?
- HubSpot is a sales CRM, built to find leads, run marketing, and move deals through a pipeline. Wrenbase Customers is for after you've won the work. It tracks who you bill, what they owe, and how they pay, and it fills itself in from your invoices. If your problem is getting paid and knowing your customers rather than chasing new leads, Wrenbase covers it without the CRM overhead. If you need a pipeline and marketing automation, keep HubSpot for that part.
- Does Wrenbase do lead generation or a sales pipeline?
- No. There's no lead capture, no marketing, and no deal stages. Wrenbase starts at the point where you have a real customer to bill, and it manages the money relationship from there. If lead gen is core to how you work, pair Wrenbase with a sales tool and let each do its job.
- I don't do lead generation. Can I just use Wrenbase instead of a CRM?
- Yes, and plenty of teams do exactly that. If your customers come from referrals, product signups, or repeat business rather than a sales funnel you run by hand, a sales CRM is mostly overhead. Wrenbase gives you the customer record that actually matters once you're billing: contact details, full history, what's owed, and how reliably they pay, all built from the work itself.
- Does customer data stay private to my business?
- Yes. Your customers and their history are isolated to your organization. A customer record never crosses into another business's account.
- Can I send an invoice to more than one person at a customer?
- Yes. Add extra recipients to the customer, like an accounts-payable inbox or a manager, and they get a copy of every invoice and quote you send that customer. Everyone rides on the same email; you choose Cc so they're visible to each other, or Bcc to keep a copy quiet. Extra recipients receive the document, they don't get a login.
- Can I group my customers?
- Yes. Give a customer a label, like a department, division, or region, and you can view customers together and read your numbers by that group. It's a simple flat label for organizing and reporting, not a hierarchy, so a customer sits in one group and you can create a group right when you need it.
- Can I send the invoice as an attachment instead of a link?
- Each customer has a delivery preference. Send link (the default) emails a secure link to view and pay, with nothing attached, which keeps a forwarded email from leaking the invoice. Send with attachments emails the invoice and its documents as PDFs, for a customer whose accounts team needs the file itself. It's one setting per customer and covers both invoices and quotes.
Every customer, one record.
Free to start. Send your first invoice and the record begins.
