Quote-to-Cash Intelligence
See every quote through to paid.
Quote, accepted, invoiced, paid. One linked chain instead of a proposal tool, a billing tool, and a spreadsheet that never agree. See which quotes turn into revenue, how much pipeline is live, and where deals stall, for startups and scaling teams that sell before they invoice.
Quote funnel · this quarter
One chain, not three tools
Quote to cash, as one record.
Most teams run the proposal in one tool, the invoice in another, and the "did it close?" question in a spreadsheet. Wrenbase keeps the whole thing on one ledger, so the chain stays intact from first quote to money in the bank.
Quote
Send a quote or proposal. Track it by status.
Accepted
The customer accepts. You see it the moment they do.
Invoiced
The quote becomes the invoice, no re-keying.
Paid
Follow-ups run until it's collected.
Accept and sign, in one step
A yes you can hold on to.
When a customer accepts a quote, they sign it right there, with no separate tool to send them to. The signature and the date land on the record and show on the quote PDF.
Need your own paperwork on it? Attach a custom document, a contract or an order form, and it travels with the quote.
Accept this quote
Enter your full name to sign. Accepting locks the price and line items.

From pipeline to answers
A quote is a question: will this become money?
Every quote you send carries a wager on revenue. Wrenbase tracks each one from sent to viewed to accepted to paid, so your pipeline is not a guess in a spreadsheet. It is a number you can read.
- What is my real conversion rate?
- How long from quote to money?
- Where do deals drop off?

Conversion, not guesswork
Know how much pipeline turns into revenue.
Wrenbase rolls your quotes into a funnel: what's out and pending, what's been accepted, and what's converted into live invoices, with the dollar pipeline behind each. Declined and expired quotes show your drop-off. So the "is this quarter landing?" question has a number, not a hunch.

Every quote, on the record
See where each quote actually is.
Each quote carries its own status: viewed, accepted, or declined, timestamped, so you know whether a customer opened it and what they did next. No more "did they see it?" guesswork before you follow up.

Quote follow-ups
Nudge a quote before it lapses.
A quote with no answer is lost pipeline. When a sent quote is nearing its expiry date, Wrenbase emails the customer a short, professional nudge automatically: seven days before it expires, and again on the day if you turn that on. You can also send one yourself from the Follow-ups list, and each nudge goes out once, so the customer isn't chased every day.
Q-1044 · expires in 7 days
SentYour quote Q-1044 expires soon
Hi Dana, following up on your quote for $6,400. It's valid through Aug 27. Happy to talk anything through.
From accepted to collected
Nothing stalls between yes and paid.
When a customer says yes, the quote becomes the invoice with the line items and terms already filled in, so there's nothing to re-type. From there it joins your invoices, where overdue reminders and payment tracking take it the rest of the way to collected.
Bring your data in
It works with the systems you already run.
Your quotes and deal history can come in from wherever your pipeline lives now. Drop in a CSV from any tool today, at any volume. Native connectors, an API, and ERP ingestion, the kind that pulls straight from the systems where your data already lives, are rolling out. However complex your setup, there is a way in.
Quote-to-cash vs CPQ
Not a CPQ tool, and that's the point.
CPQ software builds a complicated quote and stops there. Wrenbase keeps the quote connected to what happens next, all the way to money in the bank. If your quotes are line items and a total, here's where the two part ways.
| CPQ software | Wrenbase quote-to-cash | |
|---|---|---|
| Product configuration | Yes, core feature | No, you write line items |
| Pricing and discount rules | Yes, rule engine | No, you set the price |
| Deal approval chains | Yes | No |
| Sending the quote | Yes | Yes |
| Accepted quote becomes the invoice | Hands off to another system | Yes, no re-keying |
| Conversion metrics | Deal win rate, up to the sale | Funnel through to cash collected |
| Collecting payment | No, separate billing tool | Yes, built in |
| Reconciliation to the cent | No | Yes |
| Best for | Large sales teams with complex product catalogs | Startups and teams whose pain is quote-to-paid, not quote-building |
| Setup | Heavy, often a project | Start free, use it the same day |
Where this is heading
The quote signals are captured. The deeper views are next.
Deeper quote telemetry
Rolling outEvery quote already records its own timeline: sent, viewed, accepted, declined, converted, paid, each step timestamped. That is the raw material for more than a single conversion rate. Coming next: conversion sliced by source, industry, and deal size, plus funnel trends over time, so you see which kinds of quotes convert and where they stall.
Pull from your CPQ
Rolling outKeep Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, or PandaDoc for building and pricing the deal, and let a closed deal flow into Wrenbase for invoicing, collection, and quote-to-cash analytics. Tell us which CPQ you run so we build that connector first.

Common questions
Quick answers.
- What is quote-to-cash in Wrenbase?
- The whole revenue chain in one place: a quote goes out, the customer accepts it, it becomes the invoice with no re-keying, and you track it through to paid. Every step is one linked record, so you can see which quotes turn into revenue and how long it takes.
- Can I see my quote conversion rate?
- Yes. Wrenbase rolls up your quotes into a funnel: sent (pending), accepted, and converted to invoices, with the dollar pipeline behind accepted and converted quotes, plus declined and expired as drop-off. So you can see how much of your pipeline is turning into real revenue.
- What quote-to-cash analytics does Wrenbase show?
- The full quote funnel: sent, accepted, converted, declined, and expired, with the dollar pipeline behind each stage. On top of that you get a conversion rate, the average time a customer takes to respond to a quote, and the average time from quote to cash collected. So you can see how much pipeline turns into revenue and where it slows down.
- Does a quote become the invoice automatically?
- When a customer accepts a quote, it converts straight into the invoice, the line items and terms carry over, so there's nothing to re-type. The invoice stays linked to the quote it came from.
- How does Wrenbase help me get paid faster?
- Accepted work becomes an invoice, and overdue invoices get a sequence of escalating reminders, tone-controlled per stage, that you approve before they send. You see every quote and invoice by status, so nothing stalls unnoticed.
- Does Wrenbase remind customers before a quote expires?
- Yes, automatically. When a sent quote is nearing its expiry date, Wrenbase emails the customer a short, professional nudge so the quote doesn't lapse unanswered. There are two windows: seven days before it expires, which is on by default, and the day it expires, which is off by default. You control both in your follow-up settings.
- Are quote follow-ups sent automatically?
- Yes. Once a quote is inside a window you've turned on, Wrenbase sends the reminder for you, once per window, so the customer isn't emailed every day. You can also send a nudge yourself any time from the Follow-ups list if you want to reach out sooner.
- Is Wrenbase only for agencies?
- No. The quote-to-cash chain fits any business that sends a proposal before the work: B2B software vendors, professional-services and consulting firms, and teams on subscription or retainer billing, as well as agencies and studios.
- Is Wrenbase a CPQ tool?
- No. CPQ (configure, price, quote) software is built for the sales side of complicated deals: putting together product bundles, running pricing and discount rules, and pushing quotes through approval chains. Wrenbase does none of that. What it does is keep the quote tied to what comes after it. The customer accepts, the quote becomes the invoice, and you follow it through to paid and reconciled. That's a different job from building the quote in the first place.
- What is the difference between quote-to-cash and CPQ?
- CPQ stops at the quote. It helps a sales team build and send a complex quote, then hands the deal off to a separate billing or AR system to collect on. Quote-to-cash in Wrenbase covers everything after the quote too: accepted, invoiced without re-typing anything, paid, reconciled. CPQ produces the quote. Quote-to-cash is about that quote turning into money.
- Does CPQ already give me quote conversion metrics?
- CPQ reports conversion up to the sale: how many quotes turned into won deals. That number stops where the sales team's job stops. Wrenbase records the whole quote lifecycle as it happens. Every quote sent, viewed, accepted, declined, converted to an invoice, and paid, each one timestamped, with the dollar pipeline behind every stage. So today you see conversion all the way through to cash collected, past the point a CPQ stops. And because that history is already being captured, we keep turning more of it into analytics you can use. You see which quotes closed, and which ones actually became money in the bank.
- Do I still need CPQ if I use Wrenbase?
- If you sell configurable products with pricing rules, tiered discounts, and multi-step deal approvals, a CPQ tool does that and Wrenbase does not. If your quotes are line items and a total, and the real pain is the gap between an accepted quote and a paid invoice, Wrenbase handles that on its own and you probably don't need CPQ.
- Does Wrenbase do product configuration or pricing rules?
- No. There's no product configurator and no pricing-rule engine. You write the line items and set the price. We put the depth into what happens after the quote instead, so everything from the quote to the cash lives in one place rather than split across a configurator, a billing tool, and a spreadsheet.
- Can Wrenbase replace my CPQ and billing stack?
- Unless you need a CPQ's product configurator and pricing-rule engine, yes. One linked chain from quote to accepted to invoice to paid replaces a proposal tool, a billing tool, and the spreadsheet you use to track whether anything closed. If you do need product configuration and complex pricing approvals, Wrenbase replaces the billing and collection half, not the CPQ half.
- I want detailed analytics per deal. Can Wrenbase help with that?
- Partly today, and more is in the works. Right now every quote carries its own timeline: sent, viewed, accepted, declined, converted, paid, each step timestamped, and that rolls up into your conversion rate and average time from quote to cash. Deeper per-deal analytics are on the way. If there are specific per-deal metrics you need, tell us which ones so we build the right thing.
- Can Wrenbase work with my CPQ tool?
- That's in the works, not live yet. Wrenbase runs its own quote-to-cash chain today, so unless you need a CPQ's product configurator and pricing-rule engine, you can build, send, collect, and report on your quotes entirely in Wrenbase. Working with a CPQ tool so a deal you closed there flows into Wrenbase as an invoice and into your analytics is on the roadmap. If that matters to you, tell us which CPQ tool you use.
- I use Salesforce CPQ (or DealHub, PandaDoc). Will Wrenbase work with it?
- That's the plan, through event ingestion that's in the works, not live today. The idea is to keep your CPQ tool for building and pricing the deal, and let Wrenbase take over from acceptance: invoice, collect, reconcile, and report on conversion and time to cash. Until it ships, you can still use both together. You'd just create the invoice in Wrenbase yourself instead of having it flow across automatically.
